On April 8th, 2022 Soccer Assist, in partnership with the U.S. Soccer Foundation, 4ATX, St. David’s Healthcare, St. David’s Foundation, and Bastrop Independent School District opened  up a new soccer/futsal court at Bastrop Middle School. Approximately 200 people attended the event, which included a 5v5 tournament as well as food and drink for the community. This was  first court collaboration  outside of the City of Austin for these partners. 

Regarding the launch, Soccer Assist Co-Founder, Dr. Aaron Rochlen commented, “”Since we started fundraising for these mini-pitches over 7 years ago, we have had our eyes on building one outside of Austin. To install this beautiful pitch with these amazing partners in the color scheme of Austin’s own professional soccer team is a dream come true. We are so appreciative of each donor and sponsor who have offered their own ‘Assist’ in helping us make this happen.”
